Blitzburgh Blog was founded in a dorm room sometime during winter 2008. We started this site because we love the Pittsburgh Steelers and love talking football with people. That is it. We could care less about making money or spreading rumors. We're hear to talk Steeler football.
That said we don't spend all of our day blogging so if breaking news is what you want, stick with the Post Gazette.
Also: we don’t attribute any of our images and take them from all over the Web (Brian shamelessly hotlinks every image in all of his posts from Google Images). If you own one of them and don’t like us using it or whatever, just This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it and it will be removed ASAP. We're not here to start any beef.
If you find a post that is spell-checked, head for your local bomb shelter because the Earth has shifted off it's axis. We are trying to do a better job of spell checking. Earth = shifted.
We have met a lot of people and gotten to do some awesome things through this blog and our proud to have been featured on a variety of websites including:

Bam started Blitzburgh in 2008 for something to do in between college classes. A few years and several jobs later, he's still blogging away from his parent's basement. He's got a B.A. in communication and recently won a Home Run Derby in a local wiffle ball league. He also will challange you in Tetris any day of the week. Brian joined Blitzburgh at the 2009 trade deadline when Blogspot sent him over for Norm Johnson and a 3rd round pick. He handles all the play-by-play game recaps during the season. As a fan, Brian believes more linebackers fix everything, a solid running game drains the opponent's will to live, cheerleaders are a waste of time and money, and the refs are really trying to do the best job they can so let's chill out a little bit, okay? Brian also will beat you at Pokemon any day of the week. Except Sunday, of course. That's for football. This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it
Matt is a die-hard Steelers fan. He is new to the Blitzburgh team but can’t wait to get his opinions out there. He is a 23 year old who lives in State College but grew up in Upper St. Clair (just 15 minutes south of the city). He loves the Steelers, and has watched them all his life. He defines himself as an educated fan with a lot to offer to other Steelers fans. This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it
