Brett Favre is known as a great football player that played in the NFL. He was born on October 10 in 1969. Almost all of his career he played for the Green Bay Packers which is what he is most known for. He played in the NFL for 20 years which is a very high number considering most professional football players only play a couple of years and then their career is over.
Brett Favre went to the University of Southern Mississippi and played for four years. While he was there he broke a number of different records for the school. He was even selected in the second round in 1991 by the Falcons. He went for one season there before heading over to the Green Bay Packers during the first round pick in the 1992 NFL draft.
This is where Brett Favre is known for. He is known for being a great quarterback for the Green Bay Packers. He became the Green Bay Packers official quarterback during the 4th game in 1992. This was during the NFL regular season. He then started every single game through 2007. Brett Favre played for the Green Bay Packers for 16 years before leaving and heading to the Jets. He then spent his final 2 seasons playing for the Vikings. This created him going down in the record books as having a 297 consecutive start stat as well as 321 which included the playoffs.
Brett Favre has so many different records, it would take a book for us to name them all. With that said, Brett Favre was not perfect just like every other player. By the end of 2011, Favre had played in 15 games in his career and thrown more than 200 passing yards. This made him the 4th in history at the school to have done that. Of those games, 5 of them were 300-yard games. This was all very impressive and started to get him noticed.
Like many NFL players, they go through injuries. In 2013, Brett Favre was asked to consider returning to the NFL after he was injured. He said he turned it down because he was suffering memory loss after having multiple concussions throughout his career.
Brett Favre has been an analyst a couple of different times. He joined the crew while his old university team played Rice and then for the NFL during the Super Bowl.
