Steelers Sign Some Dudes

For reasons I don't quite understand and probably never will, the Steelers have made some signings since their season ended. No, not big signings like re-upping with Jason Worilds or Jerricho Cotchery. Tiny signings like bringing in CB Devin Smith, who I think got cut in preseason last year. Also joining the team are linebacker Dan Molls, running back Miguel Maysonet, and wide receiver Lanear Sampson. All of these players spent time on various practice squads throughout 2013.

Heck of a time to bring in training camp fodder. Last week, they signed punter Brad Wing and long-snapper Bryce Davis, to really get a head start on that crucial long-snapper economy that picks up in the offseason.

"I fear no one" -Greg Warren, probably.

Also some idiot tried to sue the NFL because the Steelers didn't make the playoffs. This story is getting way more national attention than it deserves (and look at me, not fixing that!) when it basically amounts to a fan sending an angry letter to Santa Claus.

In other news, the actual playoffs are going on this weekend and if you aren't pumped for the NFC games, I'm not sure you actually like football. In the AFC, how cool would it be to see Andrew Luck storm into New England and beat the Patriots?

I can dream.
